    All

I am looking for some advice really, all welcome !

I have been climbing indoors for about 12 months now but find the hours I am available a bit restrictive as the wall is always busy when I can get out. I am looking to do some outdoor climbing as the weather starts to improve, I live in west yorkshire and asking does anyone know the best local places to climb for all levels ?

    Thanks

    Hi Micky

Are you looking to do routes or boulder? Caley, Almscliff and Brimham are all on your doorstep and have masses of routes and problems across the grade spectrum.

There are of course many other options, its worth investing in a guide for the area. This will serve to inspire you to find routes and give you directions to the crags etc.

    Cheers

    Thanks Rob

Routes really, getting a bit stale indoors, can you recommend any good books ?

    Hi Micky,

A good place to start will be a good climbing book for the gritstone crags. I would recommend The Yorkshire Gritstone Guide. Although it was published in 1998, the routes you will be interested in wont have changed.

    Cheers
